Tour 4 : Yamoussoukro

Visit the magnificent city of Yamoussoukro, birthplace of the First President of Côte d'Ivoire, the late Félix Houphouët-Boigny (1905-1993).Thanks to his leadership this city is famous today with the construction of the biggest basilica in the world, Notre Dame de la Paix.

Located in the center of the country since 1983 the city is actually the political capital of Côte d'Ivoire.

You can also discover the Félix Houphouët Boigny’s Foundation, the crocodile lake and also the mosque. Continued to the neighboring village of Abouakouassikro to take lunch and watch local people doing some cultural shows . Return to Abidjan in the afternoon.
